About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Interaction Designer to join our team at Canonical. As a Senior Interaction Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing user-centered digital experiences that meet the needs of our users.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead the design and development of user-centered digital experiences. This will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and business goals, and then applying this knowledge to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.

You will also be responsible for conducting usability testing to evaluate design concepts, prototypes, and finished products. This will help us ensure that our products meet user expectations and are easy to use.

In addition to your design responsibilities, you will also be expected to collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to align on goals, features, and design principles. You will also be responsible for contributing to the overall UX vision and strategy of the product.

We conduct user research to gather insights on user needs, behaviors, pain points, and goals. This involves using methods such as user interviews, surveys, and observations to gain a deeper understanding of our users.

We create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and low-fidelity mockups to visualize design concepts and iterate quickly based on user feedback.
