About the Role

  • The Senior Accountant / Analyst will ensure compliance with revenue recognition principles under IFRS.
  • This role will involve reviewing contracts to ensure proper revenue recognition and preparing revenue recognition journal entries.
  • The successful candidate will prepare monthly revenue reconciliations and revenue-related schedules for financial reporting and resolve any reconciling items.
  • This position involves creating and updating dashboards with key analytical insights.
  • The ideal candidate will develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including sales, operations, tech teams, and customer service teams, to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition and validation.
  • This role will lead the month-end close process and prepare various financial reports and analyses as required.
  • The successful candidate will identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of revenue recognition.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls and company policies is essential.
  • Documentation must be complete and as per company policy/accounting & audit standards.
  • This role involves leading end-to-end timely submission of tax and audit supporting schedules as required.
  • The ideal candidate will review the work of junior team members and provide guidance to promote a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • This position supports the Finance Manager in complex technical areas.
  • Participating in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed is also required.
