About the Role:
The Facilities Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and maintenance of Weatherford facilities. This role involves overseeing subcontractor activities, managing resources, implementing HSE standards, and ensuring compliance with local legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure facility safety standards are implemented across all base facilities and staff houses
- Manage subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures
- Collaborate with PL OMs on sharing resources such as forklifts, overhead cranes, and pressure test bays
- Monitor preventive and predictive maintenance activities for major and minor shop components
- Track and report monthly utilities consumption at base
- Verify that all necessary base operating licenses and certifications required by local legislation are in place and valid
- Coordinate with local authorities on implementing their requirements
- Manage transport fleet and carpool, including vehicle allocations, gate passes, vehicle maintenance, and journey management
- Approve permits to work for hazardous activities carried out at base
- Support country HSE team in implementing day-to-day HSE activities
People Management:
- Maintain regular contact with project teams through site visits or meetings
- Engage with suppliers through site visits and presentations to project teams and buyers
- Participate in training programs for career development
- Ensure all work is performed within company policies, procedures, and work instructions
