National Petroleum Construction Company Limited is seeking a highly experienced and skilled individual to fill the position of Senior Discipline Lead. As part of our team, you will be responsible for leading discipline-specific engineering drawing activities, ensuring that all work assignments are completed on time and to set standards.

About the Role

  • This role involves supervising and participating in drafting activities carried out by drafting staff, as well as preparing basic drawings and allocating them to team members for detailed engineering drawing preparation.
  • You will act as the ultimate checker for all drawings produced by draftsmen to ensure compliance with project briefs, consistency, and quality of work.
  • The successful candidate will have experience in 3D modelling, provide input for resolving engineering queries from clients or third parties, and undertake interdisciplinary coordination to ensure integration of project drafting activities.
  • You will also work closely with discipline engineers to ensure speedy resolution of problems and adherence to project schedules.
  • This role requires a technical diploma in engineering or equivalent, with at least 10 years of drafting experience and 5 years of experience in the oil and gas field, preferably offshore.
  • A strong track record of supervisory experience, team-leader qualities, and proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) are essential for this position.
  • The ideal candidate will possess good knowledge of written and spoken English, as well as rigorous checking skills.
