Airborne Leadership:
The Captain is a seasoned professional who leads by example, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Lead the flight crew to ensure the safety and security of all crew members, passengers, and cargo on board.
- Operational Expertise: Operate the aircraft within the scope of all operational manuals.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulations, documentation, and briefing materials for the intended route of flight, destination, and alternate airfields.
- Emergency Management: Take command in emergency situations, making decisions to ensure the safety of the aircraft and its occupants.
Requirements:
- Total Flying Time: A minimum of 7,000 hours.
- PIC Hours: A minimum of 2,500 hours PIC on multi-crew, glass cockpit jet aircraft, and 2,000 hours PIC on any Airbus wide-body FBW.
- Type Rating: Type rating on any Airbus wide-body FBW valid for a minimum of 2 months at the time of joining.
- Licenses: Unrestricted and current ICAO ATPL, unrestricted and current Class 1 medical.
- Age Limit: Must not have attained the age of 59 years old upon the date of joining.
