As a key member of the JobItUs team, the Project Planning Specialist - E&I will be responsible for developing and managing comprehensive project schedules, incorporating all phases of the project from initiation to completion.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Schedule Development: Create and manage project schedules, timelines, and plans to ensure realistic, achievable, and aligned with client requirements and organizational goals.
- Project Monitoring and Control: Regularly monitor project progress, identify potential delays or obstacles, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather relevant data and ensure accurate project timelines.
- Risk Management: Conduct critical path analysis and risk assessments to identify potential delays and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks.
- Reporting and Presentations: Prepare reports and presentations for clients, highlighting project milestones, timelines, and potential challenges.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferable in Electrical or Instrumentation), Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-13 years of experience in project planning within the oil & gas construction industry (UAE experience preferred).
- Skills: Proficient in using planning software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
