We are seeking an experienced Asset Manager to join our growing team. As an Asset Manager, you will play a critical role in driving asset performance, generating and executing strategic asset plans, and managing property cash flow.
Key Responsibilities- Asset Performance: Assist in driving asset performance, generate and execute strategic asset plans, and manage property cash flow.
- Strategic Initiatives: Develop a thorough understanding of each property and its challenges, assess the implementation of strategic initiatives, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Capital Improvement Plans: Coordinate and manage strategic capital improvement plans carried out by general contractors and third-party vendors.
- Relationship Building: Forge strong relationships with operating partners to proactively work through challenges and communicate concerns up internal and external chains of command.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze and ensure the integrity of monthly and quarterly property-level financial statements vs. budget or proforma.
- Budgeting: Create and implement annual operating and capital budgets.
- Compliance: Monitor compliance requirements and deadlines across multiple government agencies and programs with the support of our Compliance team.
- Communication: Coordinate communications and manage requests from investors, lenders, governmental agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Support Functions: Support our Construction Services and Acquisitions teams with ad-hoc coordination and communication as needed.
- Asset Inspections: Conduct frequent physical inspections of each asset and its competitive market in the portfolio.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or related fields.
- Experience: 3-8 years of experience with real estate asset management and finance.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex data and present solutions, and effective communication and presentation skills to work effectively with and present to a broad range of partners, agencies, and stakeholders.
