- Public Health and Fire Protection Services: Undertake engineering design for public health and fire protection services, including preparation of layouts, schematics, schedules, specifications, and details.
- Technical Schedules and Specifications: Prepare technical schedules and specifications for water, drainage, and fire protection systems.
- CAD Documentation: Plan and manage CAD documentation of design work, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Client Representation: Represent the Discipline during client meetings, ensuring effective communication and project coordination.
- Project Management: Ensure service and project work are carried out within agreed deadlines and within budget.
- Design Review: Review design information from delivery aspect to ensure compliance with briefing documentation requirements.
- Design Input and Direction: Provide valuable design input and direction to ensure that appropriate service/design decisions are met.
- Sustainable Design: Collaborate with other disciplines to achieve project coordination and timely delivery, with a focus on sustainable design principles.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in design of sustainable plumbing and fire protection systems, including technical knowledge of hydraulics, piping systems, pumps, and equipment.
- Collaboration: Ability to critically review building services documentation (drawings, calculations, and specifications) at all design stages from concept to construction documentation.
