Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Procurement Senior Manager to join our team at MAJID AL FUTTAIM. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering strategic roadmaps and annual budgets for relevant categories, creating and implementing sourcing strategies, and managing sourcing activities to achieve agreed milestones and key development timelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sourcing
    • Develop and deliver strategic roadmaps and annual budgets for relevant categories in association with the Business and Head of Procurement.
    • Create and implement sourcing strategies on a project level in compliance with legal, internal policies, good practices, and business goals.
  • Category Management
    • Manage and lead sourcing activities for new project development and achieve agreed milestones and key development timelines.
    • Leverage opportunities for consolidation, standardization, and scoping to improve costs.
  • Supply Chain Optimization
    • Analyze supplier offers and quantify total costs of ownership (TCO).
    • Meet or exceed annual sourcing goals and savings targets for the MAF spend.
    • Manage price negotiation and finalization of commercial supply agreements/contracts in close alignment with MAF Legal.
  • Market Analysis
    • Analyze industry and markets to identify and demonstrate emerging trends for business benefits.
    • Map, analyze, and interpret data on current spend patterns, identify cost drivers, and opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Actively communicate with stakeholders across OpCos and develop digital platforms to meet KPI and SLA set.
    • Regular reporting of sourcing/negotiation strategies and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Experience in a large Indirect Procurement organization dealing with multiple sourcing activities covering Technology and IT.
  • Experience in negotiating big deals with big Tech giants, including ORACLE, SAP, etc.
  • Experience in Procurement within 'Shared Services' is a plus to provide oversight for all procurement RFX process for smooth delivery of shared service operations to procurement category managers.
  • In-depth understanding and practiced best-in-class procurement processes, systems, and practices.
  • Must be capable of assessing legal and business risk when making decisions concerning contractual commitments.
  • Min 7 – 10 years of experience in a similar role and min of 15 – 17 years' experience in Procurement.
