About the Job:
The Higher Colleges of Technology seeks an HR Support Specialist to provide efficient and effective HR services within campus. The successful candidate will maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records to support Central Services.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain campus employee records, ensuring compliance with guidelines provided by central HR Central Services, and provide necessary input for consolidation.
- Support logistical arrangements for learning interventions on campus.
- Distribute and collect learning feedback, delivering results to central HR for analysis.
- Assist in handling employee complaints, grievances, and disciplinary actions on campus, directing them to HR Central Services as needed.
- Communicate and implement new policy changes as required.
- Administer employees' leaves and time and attendance on campus.
- Maintain and update staff records of performance appraisal, training, and development profiles for easy access.
- Support data gathering, compilation, report generation, and updates, coordinating with central HR as necessary.
- Within campus, administer processes for probation completions, contract renewals, acting appointments, transfers, resignations, and terminations, and manage end-of-service benefits and exit processes for departing employees.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required (e.g., Human Resources, Business Management).
- Full English and Arabic proficiency is essential.
- Advanced computer literacy, including MS Office and Banner, is required.
- A minimum of two years of work experience in the Human Resources field is preferred.
