Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Piping Engineer to join our team at Enerflex. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and detailing piping systems for oil and gas facilities and modules.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement piping designs and layouts for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
  3. Perform piping studies and 3D modeling using CAD software, including CAD Worx and PDMS/E3D.
  4. Prepare and review inputs required for bids and proposals, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  5. Issue engineering drawings for Inter Discipline Check (IDC) and coordinate with other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues.
  6. Extract piping deliverables such as Isometrics, Nozzle orientations drawing (NOD), and Piping GAD MTO through CAD Worx or other drawing software.
  7. Perform data consistency checks and resolve clashes to ensure the model is clash-free.
  8. Analyze the effect of proposed changes on form, fit, and function, and recommend cost-saving design practices and procedures.
  9. Meet project deadlines and assist other designers to meet their deadlines.
  10. Prepare and review As-built drawings.
  11. Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent in mechanical or Computer Aided Design technology, with at least ten years of experience in designing and detailing piping systems for oil and gas facilities and/or modules.
  2. Strong preference for previous oil and gas experience with gas processing engineering and design.
  3. Strong self-starter skills and ability to perform successfully with limited supervision.
  4. Ability to manage complex technical requirements and establish clear goals and accountabilities to ensure successful delivery of engineering deliverables.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to work closely in a team environment with all internal/external stakeholders.
  6. Entrepreneurial attitude, aptitude for innovation, and long-term career interests.
  7. Working knowledge of compression, power generation, and/or offshore oil and gas applications.
  8. Proficient using 3-D CAD design and complete Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, etc.), and email system.
  9. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
