Safety Officer Coordinator

As a key member of our team at Emirates Logistics LLC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees and facilities. As a Safety Officer, you will supervise and coordinate all Health & Safety (H&S) related matters in our facility.

You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining H&S checklists, arranging for workers to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and ensuring timeliness and discipline during break times.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily rounds of the facility to identify any abnormalities and hazards; coordinate with supervisors for corrective action.
  • Maintain discipline and harmony in the facility in coordination with supervisors and managers.
  • Bring to management notice any indiscipline, disruptive, or dishonest conduct by workers.
  • Assist in having periodic H&S training and safety awareness for all staff to encourage safe working practices.
  • Assist in recording incident and accident reports.
  • Inspect, maintain, and keep records of safety equipment and tools; arrange for their periodic checkup and repair.
  • Participate in conducting evacuation drills and lead emergency evacuations as required.
  • Monitor high-risk activities in the facility.
  • Implement waste management systems and housekeeping practices in workplaces.
