Position Overview:

We are in search of a seasoned and strategic Lead Public Relations Strategist. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in fostering and nurturing robust connections between the organization, its executive leadership, the developer ecosystem, the wider tech landscape, and our internal workforce. This position entails spearheading and executing strategic PR initiatives, orchestrating impactful events, and enhancing the company’s reputation both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and oversee the execution of comprehensive PR strategies aimed at bolstering the organization’s image and standing.
  • Build and sustain relationships with essential stakeholders, including executive leadership, the developer community, the tech ecosystem, and internal personnel.
  • Draft, review, and disseminate high-quality press releases, media kits, and other PR-related materials.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute significant company events such as conferences, meetups, webinars, and internal gatherings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing division to develop engaging content for social media, blogs, and other communication platforms.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on media coverage and PR campaign effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations to management.
  • Address complex media inquiries and serve as a senior spokesperson for the organization.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels by liaising with internal teams.
  • Establish and maintain a strong network of media contacts, journalists, and influencers within the tech industry.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and news to proactively identify PR opportunities and address potential challenges.
  • Guide and mentor junior members of the PR team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in public relations, with a substantial focus on the technology sector.
  • A deep understanding of the tech industry, developer communities, and current trends.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • A proven history of cultivating and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Extensive experience in organizing and managing large-scale events.
  • Strong project management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capability to work autonomously and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
