Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager - Banquets is responsible for assisting the Banquet Manager in managing the planning logistics of major conferences, conventions, incentives, meetings, concerts, exhibitions, ladies weddings, and other social events to exceed customer expectations, stimulate optimum revenue, and enhance the reputation of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of events to ensure seamless delivery and exceed customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with the Banquet Manager to develop and implement event strategies to stimulate revenue growth and enhance the hotel's reputation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, employees, and owners to ensure a positive experience.
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations and compliance with company standards.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in event management, customer service, and sales.

Requirements:

  • Work experience in ladies and VIP weddings, convention service, or group coordination is an advantage.
  • Good organizational skills are required.
