Job Overview

MENA Recruit Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in accounting or finance, with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.

About the Role
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing monthly payroll files, including updates for new joiners, departures, salary changes, bonuses, etc.
  • They will also prepare annual budget files and mid-year forecast of budgeted expenses for Abu Dhabi, when needed.
  • Additionally, they will coordinate with external auditors and local tax service providers, prepare and upload select journal entries related to payroll, VAT, etc., and file the quarterly VAT return.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on client service.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Arabic language skills are considered a plus.
