About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team at Emirates Grand Hotel. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining all carpentry and joinery components in the hotel building.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring the operation of Emergency Exit doors.
  • Carrying out guest room maintenance requests promptly.
  • Conducting regular inspections of automatic door closers and locks of doors.
  • Performing planned preventative maintenance on guest room entrance door locks.
  • Monitoring required materials and spare parts for carpentry repairs and reporting any needs to the supervisor.
  • Completing daily checklists as prepared by the supervisor.
  • Accomplishing all assigned work orders daily and reporting any pending tasks to the supervisor.
  • Assisting other technical staff when needed.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
