Job Summary:

Duserve is seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Specialist to join our team. As an Air Conditioning Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of our air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance schedules for air conditioning units to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operation.
  2. Inspection and Repair: Conduct regular inspections and repairs of the air conditioning system to identify and address any issues promptly.
  3. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Ensure that all operational and maintenance activities are properly recorded and documented for future reference.
  4. Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies and malfunctions in a timely and efficient manner to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  5. Work Order Implementation: Implement work orders issued by subordinates with specific standards to ensure that tasks are completed to the highest quality.
  6. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all portable equipment is in correct condition and is used safely to prevent accidents and injuries.
  7. Multi-Skilled Workforce: Assist in performing electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and other work when needed to support the overall maintenance and repair of our facilities.
  8. Technical Advice: Advise the Facilities Supervisor/Technologist on major repairs/changes required to ensure that our air conditioning systems are always running at optimal levels.
  9. Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of our air conditioning/HVAC equipment and adjust it for maximum efficiency to reduce energy consumption and costs.
  10. Fault Inspection and Repair: Perform fault inspection, diagnosis, and repair of faulty operations of air conditioning units, including:
    1. Air conditioning units
    2. New and reclaimed air fan units
    3. Split and packaged type air conditioning units
    4. Window type air conditioning units
    5. Centrifugal pumps
  11. Regular Checks: Regularly check the electrical and mechanical integrity and operating components of the above units to ensure that they are functioning correctly and safely.
