Oil Spill Response Specialist

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires expertise in oil spill response and hazardous materials management.
As an Oil Spill Response Specialist, you will be responsible for providing specialized technical expertise across the entire value chain of the Oil Spill & HNS Response Department.
You will lead research, collation, and benchmarking of international OS & HNS Response regulations, quality standards, and best practices to establish a comprehensive knowledge repository.
Key Responsibilities- Advise on the implementation of functional policies, systems, processes, procedures, and controls covering all areas of the OS & HNS Response functions.
- Support planning and execution of external OS & HNS Response Exercises.
- Provide expertise on numerous OS & HNS Response technical aspects such as equipment selection, material sourcing, and subcontractor management.
- Review clients' assets' Tiered Oil Spill & HNS Response Plans and highlight potential improvement areas.
- Support and counsel on-site OS & HNS teams upon notification of an emergency, ensuring efficient and accurate risk assessment and response.
- Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of OS & HNS operational processes.
