About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Platform Reliability Engineer to join our team at InvestSky. As a Platform Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our platform, which is a critical component of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement reliable and scalable systems and processes for the platform.
  2. Monitor and analyze platform performance to identify and troubleshoot issues.
  3. Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve problems.
  4. Work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the platform is performing at its best.
  5. Develop and maintain documentation related to the platform, including technical specifications and runbooks.
  6. Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for the platform.
Requirements:
  1. 2+ years of experience in a reliability engineering or site reliability engineering role.
  2. Strong experience with Linux/Unix systems and networking concepts.
  3. Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Nagios.
  4. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  5. Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  6. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
  2. Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  3. Experience with programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
