Ecologist Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled ecologist to join our team at FPCR, a leading integrated design practice in the UK. As an ecologist specialist, you will play a crucial role in protecting and enhancing protected species and their habitats.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ecological strategies to minimize the impact of development on protected species and their habitats.
• Conduct surveys and assessments to identify potential ecological risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective conservation plans.
• Provide expert advice on European Protected Species Licencing (EPSL), Low Impact Class Licence (LICL), and District Level Licensing systems.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest ecological research, legislation, and best practices.
