Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cargo Handling Foreman to join our team at Sundus. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient receipt and delivery of cargo at our yard in Dubai.

Main Responsibilities

  • Inspecting cargo with damage noticed on the premises and determining whether the damage is major or minor.
  • Creating an incident damage report for cargo with no damage history available and submitting it to the General Supervisor.
  • Conducting toolbox talks to subordinates before commencement of operations.
  • Deploying resources for cargo receiving/delivery after receiving notification of truck passing through the cargo gate.
  • Manning monitoring of cargo receiving/delivery to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manning monitoring of manpower to identify any shortage, and informing GC Yard & Vessel Supervisor for further action.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will be required to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
