Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Teacher of Drama to join our team at Bateen World Academy. As a Teacher of Drama, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students in Years 7-13. You will also contribute to the development of extracurricular activities and events within the Drama department.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all students.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve teaching and learning.
  • Develop and maintain curriculum plans and schemes of work that align with school policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of extracurricular activities and events within the Drama department.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Drama or a related subject.
  • A Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Recent experience working with students who are EAL (English as an Additional Language).
  • A passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child.
  • A high level of professionalism and consideration of the well-being of children.
