Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Auditing Position to join our team at Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in auditing, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Arabic and English is essential, as the role will require effective communication with stakeholders across various levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy and Planning
    • Develop and implement audit strategies that align with ADAA's goals and objectives.
    • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations for mitigation.
    • Collaborate with senior auditors to ensure seamless execution of audit plans.
  • Operations
    • Lead medium and low-risk audits, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.
    • Supervise junior auditors, providing guidance and mentorship to enhance their skills and knowledge.
    • Perform data analytics and examination procedures to verify financial statements and identify major variances.
  • Talent Management and Development
    • Ensure completion of required training programs to stay up-to-date with job requirements and industry developments.
    • Maintain regular contacts with relevant staff from other departments to ensure consistency and coordination.
    • Contribute to the development of UAE National employees, supporting the organization's Emiratization strategy.
  • Corporate
    • Evaluate compliance with all ADAA Corporate Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines.
    • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes, and practices.
    • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to the organization's Code of Business Conduct.

Requirements

Academic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance

Professional Certifications:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)

Professional Experience:

3-6 years of relevant experience either in or a combination of corporate businesses and top professional firms or similar government regulatory body.

Language Proficiency:

Proficiency in Arabic and English.
