Job Description

Job Title: Accounts & Logistic Professional

Job Responsibilities
  1. Maintain accurate financial records, including daily books of accounts and reconcile monthly bank statements.
  2. Prepare monthly management information systems (MIS), budget forecasts, and required reports for the Managing Director.
  3. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable balances and analyze debtors' balances.
  4. Process payments to overseas and local suppliers, as well as employee expenses.
  5. Update prepaid and accrued expenses in the system.
  6. Prepare debit notes and credit notes.
  7. Manage VAT returns on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  8. Calculate output and input tax for VAT purposes.
  9. Prepare orders (LPOs) for overseas and local suppliers.
  10. Process monthly salaries and statutory requirements.
  11. Maintain a day-to-day petty cash expenses sheet.
  12. Send updated statements of account (SOAs) to vendors via email for payment processing.
  13. Follow up on payments over the phone.
  14. Reconcile the monthly payables ledger before making payments.
  15. Support team members with accounting issues and compliance requirements.
  16. Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow statements.
  17. PARTicipate in annual physical stock audits in RAK with the team.
Desired Candidate ProfileWarehouse and Logistics Work
  1. Prepare invoices and delivery orders for export and local shipments.
  2. Arrange for ready shipment collection from overseas vendor locations by air or sea.
  3. Verify all shipment details on Bill of Lading documents before the vessel sets sail from its origin.
  4. Cross-trade shipment arrangements to save freight charges and custom duties.
  5. Check customs compliance for high-value export shipments in Oman.
  6. Dispatch local materials and coordinate with local courier services (Fly Courier).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (BCom) or Business Management (BBM) or MBA.
  • A minimum of 4-5 years of work experience in accounting, logistics, and warehouse operations in the Middle East.
  • Familiarity with general trading, export, and import processes.
  • Proficiency in IT software applications.
