Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Oil and Gas Job Search Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our plant's instrument and control equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise Maintenance Activities: Oversee the installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and modification of instrument and control equipment and systems to ensure compliance with safety and efficiency standards.
- Develop Maintenance Plans: Review and prepare preventive maintenance plans and schedules, as well as task lists and maintenance programs for instrument and control systems and equipment.
- Root Cause Analysis: Diagnose, analyze, and conduct root cause failure analysis to identify reasons for equipment failure and recommend remedial measures.
- Equipment Assessment: Study and conduct residual life assessments of critical instrument and control equipment, and suggest corrective actions to ensure optimal performance.
- Guidance and Advice: Provide guidance and advice on actions to be taken on chronic problems, and review requirements for major repairs and spare part replacements to ensure compliance with internationally recognized engineering standards.
- Risk Assessment: Participate in risk assessment exercises and prepare recommendations and guidelines to address findings.
- Inventory Management: Ensure availability of spares, coordinate and follow-up on new material orders, and create new proposals for stocking spares.
- Procedure Development: Prepare new maintenance procedures, method statements for new activities, and schedule long-term activities as per plant shutdown schedules.
- Interdepartmental Coordination: Plan and coordinate maintenance activities with other departments and sections to optimize manpower utilization and plan and control major and minor shutdown activities and expenditures.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support for development, implementation, and commissioning of new projects in design and specifications to optimize costs and ensure compliance with applicable standards and best practices.
- Plant Change Requests: Prepare new plant change requests, study proposed requests for implementation, and work out plans and schedules for implementing them.
