Key Responsibilities:

  1. Procurement & Sourcing:
    1. Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with business goals.
    2. Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities.
    3. Manage the procurement lifecycle, including RFQ, RFP, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiation.
    4. Ensure cost savings through supplier negotiation and competitive bidding processes.
    5. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
    6. Monitor supplier performance based on delivery timelines, quality, and service level agreements (SLAs).
    7. Address supplier issues to ensure uninterrupted supply chain operations.
  2. Contract & Compliance Management:
    1. Draft, review, and negotiate procurement contracts to ensure favorable terms.
    2. Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
    3. Manage procurement documentation, including purchase orders (POs), invoices, and vendor agreements.
  3. ERP System & Data Management:
    1. Utilize Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics for procurement transactions, reporting, and vendor management.
    2. Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of procurement records in ERP systems.
    3. Generate procurement reports and insights for management decision-making.
  4. Cost & Budget Management:
    1. Track procurement expenses and ensure adherence to budget constraints.
    2. Identify cost reduction opportunities while maintaining product/service quality.
    3. Collaborate with finance teams to optimize payment terms and cost structures.
  5. Stakeholder Collaboration:
    1. Work closely with internal teams such as operations, finance, and logistics to meet procurement needs.
    2. Communicate procurement strategies and updates to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  1. Education:
    1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
    2. Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or PMP (preferred but not mandatory).
  2. Experience:
    1. 5-7 years of procurement experience in the private sector (Manufacturing, IT, FMCG, Retail, etc.).
    2. Experience handling procurement in a multi-vendor and global supplier environment.
    3. Proficiency in ERP systems – Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics (mandatory).
  3. Technical & Soft Skills:
    1. Strong understanding of procurement best practices, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
    2. Proficiency in ERP-based procurement workflows and analytics.
    3. Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    4. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
    5. Ability to analyze procurement data and provide actionable insights.
