Job Description:

  • Collection & Dispatch Operations:
    • Coordinate and monitor all food waste collections with drivers and helpers to ensure timely and efficient operations.
    • Develop, forecast, and optimize weekly collection routes and dispatch schedules to reduce costs and environmental impact.
    • Ensure collections are executed in line with company sustainability goals and UAE waste management regulations.

Team & Resource Management:

  • Prepare duty rosters for drivers and helpers, track attendance, performance, and maintain operational records.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to ensure staff adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Collaborate with the Segregation and Compost teams to ensure smooth waste processing post-collection.

Fleet & Equipment Oversight:

  • Maintain vehicle checklists for regular maintenance, repairs, and inspections, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Monitor fuel consumption, evaluate distances covered, and implement cost-effective strategies to optimize resource use.
  • Ensure vehicles comply with UAE's road safety and environmental regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably within the waste management, recycling, or environmental services sector.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE roads, routes, and optimal collection timings.
  • A valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
  • Solid understanding of fleet management, route optimization, and waste collection operations.
  • Familiarity with UAE waste management regulations and RTA procedures.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills. Strong communication skills in English (Hindi and Arabic are a plus).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, route optimization tools, and logistics software (e.g., Fleet Management Systems, GPS Tracking).
  • Ability to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Punctual, responsible, and able to work independently.
