Job Title: Senior Well Engineer I

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Well Engineer I to join our team at Oil and Gas Job Search Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing well intervention jobs to ensure optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Fieldsuperintendent and Reservoir Development/Petroleum Engineering team to plan resources and execute well intervention jobs efficiently.
  • Develop cost-effective Rigless solutions to address production and integrity-related issues.
  • Take ownership of planning and utilization of operations assets, including Lift Boat, CTU, and other equipment.
  • Lead and organize weekly planning meetings to ensure tasks are aligned with 30-day and 90-day plans.
  • Monitor operations statistics, efficiency, and planning to minimize NPTs and lost time due to controllable factors.
  • Conduct cost monitoring of operation assets and work on cost-cutting initiatives.
  • Write tenders and tender evaluations, including commercial and remuneration evaluation models.
  • Improve Slickline and wellhead maintenance work from planning to execution and evaluation.
  • Ensure adherence to short-term and long-term planning as part of the DWS schedule.
  • Drive campaigning work and scope of work to guarantee best utilization of resources and reduce costs.
  • Liaise with service providers to enhance the performance of interventions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest intervention and completion technologies to increase production, reduce deferred production, maximize efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Assist in setting realistic budgets and expenditures.
  • Support well integrity implementation plans.
  • Plan and execute P&A operations as needed riglessly and support the A&D department as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably mechanical/petroleum or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in well services/well intervention operations, and pumping with at least 5 years in senior design role capacity. Preferably a combination of service company and operator with a good mix of technical and operations management. Good knowledge and experience in workovers and snubbing.
