Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Stewarding Supervisor to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our food and beverage operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and assist Stewards in order to optimize cleaning efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure that water temperature and chemical levels are appropriate for cleaning and well-documented.
  • Assist with banquet plate-ups and provide support to cooks and kitchen staff as needed.
  • Provide cooks with necessary items and support banquet and buffet operations by transporting and ensuring adequate stock.
  • Return cleaned items to their proper locations and operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dish washing machine, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing station, and trash compactor.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
