Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Guidance and Support: Provide guidance and support to departments within the organization to integrate sustainability practices into their daily operations.
  • Monitor and Analyze Environmental Performance: Monitor and analyze energy, water, waste, and carbon emissions data to track the organization's environmental performance.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies related to sustainability.
  • Conduct Sustainability Training and Awareness Programs: Conduct sustainability training and awareness programs for employees to promote a culture of sustainability within the organization.
  • Prepare and Present Reports: Prepare and present reports on sustainability initiatives, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders and management.

Requirements
  • Strong Knowledge of Sustainability Principles: Strong knowledge of sustainability principles, practices, and methodologies.
  • Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess environmental impact and identify areas for improvement.
  • Proficiency in Data Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation using sustainability metrics and tools.
  • Ability to Collaborate and Communicate Effectively: Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders at various organizational levels.
  • Strong Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor sustainability initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Environmental Regulations: Familiarity with relevant environmental regulations, certifications, and reporting frameworks.
  • Excellent Presentation Skills: Excellent presentation skills to effectively communicate sustainability initiatives and progress to stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Sustainability Software: Proficiency in using sustainability software and tools for data management and analysis.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science or Sustainability: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven Work Experience in Sustainability: Proven work experience in sustainability, environmental management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Sustainability Reporting Frameworks: Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks such as Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB).
  • Knowledge of Environmental Assessment and Auditing Methodologies: Knowledge of environmental assessment and auditing methodologies.
