We are seeking a highly skilled PMC Interface and GVAP Coordinator to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for coordinating the interface between engineering disciplines and ensuring the successful delivery of assigned work.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee a team of project engineers to coordinate complex activities performed by engineers, designers, and others from multiple engineering disciplines or departments.
- Schedule oversight, planning, and resource forecasting for engineering activities relating to the project.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of work to the satisfaction of both internal and external customers.
- Alert the Project Manager in the event of potential delays or change; identify and implement change.
- Coordinate and assure technical excellence of interdisciplinary project deliverables.
- Coordinate, guide, and mentor other Project Engineers in the management of work scope.
- Manage interfaces between engineering disciplines to ensure the successful delivery of assigned work.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering and Management Diploma.
- Minimum 15 years' relevant experience.
- Deep understanding of technical work scopes and commercial aspects of projects.
- Able to use conditions of contract to support decisions on schedules, key milestones, and change management.
- Has good working and application knowledge of specifications and standards.
- Extensive experience in delivering to internal customers, including other Engineering disciplines.
- Familiar with change management practices and able to robustly manage change.
- Has an expert knowledge of standards, procedures, and work practices; follows project execution flow chart; developing skills in project and technical execution.
- Expert ability in application of the procedures and work practices which define and govern Engineering Management and Project Engineering deliverables.
- Able to lead Project Engineering team; able to manage between Engineering Discipline Groups.
- Good communicator in leading work effort; motivates team; strong positive and active in solutions and proactive attitude.
- Competent at managing technical matters and interfaces with Third Parties.
- Able to manage and enhance performance and build effective teams.
