Job Description

KBR, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Construction Manager to lead our construction activities for the FEED phase of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and expertise needed to deliver exceptional results.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with construction projects, ensuring that potential issues are addressed proactively and that the project remains on track.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure that project requirements are met and that all parties are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all construction activities are carried out in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including health and safety, environmental, and quality management requirements.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze project performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to ensure that projects are delivered to the required standards.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 18+ years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong background in project management and leadership.
  • Industry Experience: 10+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on construction activities for the FEED phase of projects.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is a pre-requisite for this role.
  • Offshore Experience: Must have previous experience working on offshore projects, including FEED projects and later moving to EPC phase.
  • International Experience: Must have at least five (5) years of experience in similar positions for international oil and gas projects.
  • Offshore Background: Minimum 5 years' experience in offshore projects, with a FEED/Engineering background.
