Job Summary

As a Senior Planning Engineer - Project Coordinator at Juma Al Majid Holding Group L.L.C., you will be responsible for preparing detailed project programs in P6 for all projects based on client baseline programs. You will also be responsible for coordinating with clients and main contractors' planning engineers for periodical updating of programs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Program Management: Prepare detailed project programs in P6 for all projects based on client baseline programs.
  2. Program Coordination: Coordinate with clients and main contractors' planning engineers for periodical updating of programs.
  3. Reporting: Prepare and submit weekly reports, monthly reports, bar charts, manpower histograms, KPIs, look-ahead programs, S-curves, etc., as per project requirements in coordination with the Project Manager.
  4. Project Coordination: Coordinate between project teams and other departments.
  5. Cost Control: Assist the Project Manager in controlling project costs.
  6. Cash Flow Management: Prepare project cash flow.
  7. Claims Management: Prepare EOT claims for delays caused by other parties.
  8. KPI Management: Prepare KPIs for project monitoring and control requirements.
  9. Work Breakdown Structure: Prepare work breakdown structures for baseline programs.
  10. Delay Management: Issue delay notices to concerned parties if any delays are observed.
  11. Scheduling: Prepare detailed work schedules and monitor activities in detail.
  12. Tender Program Preparation: Prepare preliminary tender programs in P6 during the tender stage of projects.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree in civil, industrial engineering, or other related disciplines from recognized institutions.
  2. Minimum 5 years of extensive experience in planning and scheduling of interior fit-out, joinery, and construction activities.
  3. Proficiency in P6, Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  4. Knowledge of joinery and fit-out materials.
  5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
