Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implementing organizational policies and procedures to ensure effective cost management.
  2. Developing and executing management initiatives and projects to optimize cost efficiency.
  3. Providing regular project-related reports on cost control, including analysis and recommendations for improvement.
  4. Collaborating with project teams to develop cost control plans, procedures, and systems to ensure accurate cost forecasting and reporting.
  5. Reviewing and analyzing cost requests and their impact on project schedules and budgets.
  6. Ensuring compliance with approved plans and procedures to maintain cost and performance standards.
  7. Monitoring and controlling fixed and variable costs to optimize resource allocation.
  8. Identifying and allocating cost centers for each project, and reviewing direct and indirect cost items.
  9. Contributing to the development of monthly and annual cost forecasts, and analyzing deviations from project budgets.
  10. Coordinating with project managers to ensure accurate cost data and reporting, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  11. Developing and implementing cost control systems, procedures, and error detection and correction processes.
  12. Verifying invoices and claims, and ensuring accurate recording of project expenses.
  13. Creating and assigning cost codes to procurement items, and maintaining the cost control management database.
  14. Preparing and updating monthly cost accounting and forecasting reports to inform business decisions.
