About the Role

Nathan HR Human Resources is seeking a highly skilled Finance Executive to join our team in Dubai Healthcare City. As a Finance Executive, you will play a critical role in executing various financial activities, including financial accounting, under the guidance of the reporting manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Accounting and Reporting: Execute all monthly accounts payable and accounts receivable procedures for the assigned entity, including preparing journal vouchers and payable and receivable transactions (payments, receipts, debit notes, credit notes, and invoices).
  • Invoice Matching and Reconciliation: Receive invoices and perform invoice matching and reconciling with delivery notes against invoices and purchase orders.
  • General Ledger and Journal Entries: Execute all monthly general journal and general ledger procedures in accordance with established organizational policies and standards.
  • Payment and Reconciliation: Prepare accounts payable cheques and wire transfers with payment vouchers for necessary approval. Reconcile accounts with major suppliers, vendors, and contractors and arrange for balance confirmations.
  • Customer Management: Validate the customer's (commercial) history, credit ceiling, or aging reports and update the stakeholders on late receipts. Maintain the account receivable ledger and process account receivable closing and reporting.
  • Payment and Receipt Processing: Receive payments and receipts, record them, and perform matching and remittance.
  • Accounting Entries and Documentation: Ensure that all accounting entries are supported with valid documentation.
  • Auditor Liaison: Coordinate with auditors on research/resolution of any accounting issues/discrepancies.
  • Customer and Supplier Liaison: Liaise with external customers and suppliers regarding the periodic reconciliation of account statements.
  • Financial Analysis and Research: Assist with research on the preparation of feasibility studies, financial due diligence, financial modeling & valuations, financial projections, and other type of financial analysis to support financial decision-making.
  • Research Transactions: Execute all monthly research transactions both internal and external, in accordance to the agreed budget.
Requirements
  • 47 years of proven experience in a similar finance role.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable/receivable processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage financial discrepancies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to manage financial records and documentation.
