Main Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Driving forward the company's strategy and growth plans.
  • Establishing long-term growth plans to develop profitability in the market.
  • Providing strategic advice to the Board and collaborating with other departments to map out financial forecasts, budgets, and goals for the group.
  • Managing key treasury operations, optimizing funds to support large-scale projects.
  • Establishing sustainable risk management strategies to preserve the company's assets.
  • Leading investment strategies, advising on new opportunities for the group's expansion.
  • Supervising large investments and capital expenditure plans to ensure steady progression.
  • Overseeing back-office functions to ensure consistency in reporting.
  • Spearheading automation of financial systems to benefit streamlined financial reporting.
  • Leading the finance team to promote a culture of collaboration and seamless teamwork to drive company growth.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  1. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field; professional accounting qualification is a must.
  2. A proven track record in a family-owned setup is a must.
  3. A proven track record within B2B/CAPEX-intensive industries is a must.
  4. Knowledgeable on UAE regulations, tax laws, and compliance.
