Job Overview

AMEA Power is seeking a highly skilled Financial Control Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial control and reporting support to our Project Companies Finance teams.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on various financial control and reporting activities, including statutory and group accounting. You will also be involved in treasury and cash management, as well as budgeting and forecasting.

  • Treasury: Handle all banking transactions processing and support local banking relationships. Assist in preparation of documents for bank facilities, such as opening new bank accounts, Bank Guarantees, LC, and TR.
  • Accounting: Perform accounting and closing activities at company level. Support and prepare annual financial statements reports at company level. Assist in preparation of monthly financial report.
  • Budget & Planning: Assist in the preparation of budgets & forecasts and implementation of budgetary control on day-to-day operations. Coordinate with project companies and ensure proposed budgets are appropriate and accurate.
  • Financial Management and Reporting: Administer and review all financial plans; Company cash flow, preparing cash flow forecasting, and reconciling bank and investment accounts. Provide robust financial analysis to support business decision making.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with a strong technical accounting background, preferably with experience in similar sectors (Infra, Construction, Energy etc.). A Master's Degree related to Accounting / Finance / Economics and professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA or equivalent) is required.

Candidates should possess excellent accounting software skills, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365, and MS Office Suite expertise. Strong oral and written communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills are essential.
