Football Training Manager – UAE Manchester City Football Club Position

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled soccer coach to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our coaching staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality coaching to players and contributing to the success of the team.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching or teaching and be able to communicate effectively with players from diverse backgrounds and cultures. They will also have experience working in a football environment and be able to demonstrate their ability to develop and implement coaching programs that meet the required standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and deliver coaching programs that meet the required standards
• Collaborate with the wider team to review deliveries and suggest improvements to the program
• Work individually and collectively as part of a team to ensure the project meets required levels and expectations
• Assist the City Football Middle East office with local and regional activations
Requirements
• FA Level 2 / UEFA C minimum qualification
• Membership in a FA to maintain their Coach License or International equivalent
• Educational background in sports coaching or teaching
• Hold or obtain relevant safeguarding training (e.g., FA Safeguarding Children Workshop)
• Pass a DBS check at the appropriate level and clearance by the Manchester City Safeguarding Officer
• Experience working in a football environment
• Proven experience working with players from diverse backgrounds and cultures
• Experience implementing and developing a football coaching syllabus
• Demonstrate experience and knowledge of planning, delivering, and reviewing sessions
• Knowledge and understanding of player development and the four-corner model
• Experience working within a professional football club or sporting organization
• Flexibility to travel when required to support projects in the UK and internationally
• Able to create a positive working environment representing Manchester City and the local partner
• Demonstrate coaching and developing players of differing abilities
• Effective communication with players in various settings
• Ability to plan, prepare, and execute projects
• Self-review sessions with individual players
• Evaluate and review programs upon completion
