The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Operating and maintaining complex broadcasting equipment, ensuring seamless performance.
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs to maintain optimal equipment performance.
  • Overseeing the setup and operation of the broadcast control room during live events.
  • Working closely with producers and directors to bring their creative visions to life.
  • Contributing to the planning and execution of live broadcasts and recorded programs.
  • Maintaining broadcast quality by monitoring and adjusting audio and video settings.
Requirements and Qualifications

Candidates for this position must have:

  • An associate degree or equivalent in Broadcasting, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Significant experience as a Broadcast Technician or similar role.
  • Advanced technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
  • Familiarity with broadcast signal flow and audio/video signal types.
  • Knowledge of broadcast automation systems and software.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
