Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at NOV. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling jobs as per specifications, maintaining tools and equipment, and ensuring high standards of housekeeping in the workshop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Job Planning and Execution
    • Review and understand the WorkOrder for the job assigned.
    • Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job.
  • Assembly and Quality Control
    • Assemble the job as per the specifications provided in the Work Order package issued.
    • Update and maintain documents required for relevant work orders.
  • Communication and Safety
    • Notify supervisor for any mistakes or as-built changes required.
    • Conduct hydrostatic tests or FAT of completed jobs — Only if authorized to do, at designated areas.
    • Report to the cell leader immediately any machine problem or accident.
  • Maintenance and Housekeeping
    • Maintain tools and equipment always in a good condition.
    • Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the workshop as per 5S.
  • Compliance and Teamwork
    • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE procedures and policies.
    • Perform any kind of tasks/duties as requested by the cell leader.
    • To be available for field service trips if required and for other activities requested by the management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
