We are seeking a skilled Procurement Expert Lead to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for developing strategic procurement plans and budgets to acquire high-quality supplies at cost-effective prices.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, with demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation and supplier management. A bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounts, supply chain management, procurement, or logistics is required. Possession of a professional CIPS qualification or equivalent is preferred.
About This Role
- Develop strategic procurement plans and budgets to acquire high-quality supplies at cost-effective prices.
- Support stakeholders in defining procurement requirements aligned with organizational goals, providing expert guidance on procurement processes.
- Lead contract formulation, negotiation, and management to optimize supplier relationships and ensure quality standards.
- Oversee supplier performance, invoice verification, and database maintenance for accurate records.
- Identify and implement opportunities to enhance value and reduce costs in procurement processes.
- Foster professional growth and development within the procurement team.
- Utilize advanced analytical skills for data evaluation and decision-making in procurement.
Key Qualifications
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation and supplier management.
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounts, supply chain management, procurement, or logistics.
- Possession of a professional CIPS qualification or equivalent.
- Familiarity with procurement ERP systems such as SAP.
- Knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes.
