Business Development Manager Role OverviewMultipass is a multi-currency business account provider with a live FX desk, offering local dedicated UK, US and EU accounts, as well as a single multi-currency IBAN supporting over 30 world currencies.
About the Job:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for business development, servicing and managing customer relationships through one-on-one engagement, identifying client needs and providing them with appropriate Multipass products, services and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition: Lead generation, appointment setting, and developing a healthy sales pipeline by presenting the company to potential clients through direct communication, telephone calls, meetings, and offering new clients FX & payment solutions to increase transaction volumes.
- Relationship Management: Review client dossiers to understand current and future needs, identify and respond to customers' requirements, and ensure complaints are resolved within agreed turnaround times to build and maintain long-term relationships.
- Customer Service: Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the Multipass Service Standards to deliver the company's required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions.
- Compliance: Adhere to all relevant organizational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions, with high attention on AML procedures, reputation risk, and strict prohibition from miss-selling activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
- English language proficiency, with Arabic or Hindi considered an advantage
- Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or Credit Management
- Knowledge of SME &/or Commercial banking liability products
- Existing portfolio of clients requiring FX and cross-border payments
- Expertise in account opening documentation and KYC
- Good understanding of FX products (plain vanilla)
- At least 3 years of banking experience in direct sales, customer service, and relationship management in UAE
- Good understanding of the general, economic, and business environment of the region
