**Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
  • **Maintain a Safe Environment:** Implement measures to promote a safe environment for patients and others, adhering to laboratory safety standards and approved policies and procedures for infection control.
  • **Perform Laboratory Testing:** Assist in the provision of limited laboratory testing, perform waived testing, phlebotomy, and specimen processing if training and competency assessment are on file.
  • **Record and Report Results:** Accurately record results in LIS (Lab Information System) and immediately notify team leaders of any abnormal data.
  • **Document Patient Information:** Document clearly and concisely on appropriate forms according to policy.
  • **Collaborate with Team:** Act on direction from team leaders and provide patient testing feedback to the team leader or other responsible person to achieve laboratory objectives.

  • **Education:** High School Diploma or Equivalent
