About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NDT Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at SEPCOIII ELECTRIC POWER CONSTRUCTION CO. LTD. DMCC BRANCH.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance in power generation and desalination projects through effective metal material inspection and quality management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review and approve metal material inspection reports to ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and EIAC standards.
  2. Manage subcontractors and third-party inspection agencies, ensuring their qualifications, methodologies, and equipment meet project requirements.
  3. Develop and implement metal inspection plans for seawater desalination plants, ensuring alignment with project schedules and quality control objectives.
  4. Provide technical expertise to engineering and O&M teams, including weld quality assessment, material selection, and corrosion resistance analysis.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of high-temperature and high-pressure material inspection, corrosion assessment, and weld quality evaluation.
  • Proficiency in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods (UT, RT, MT, PT) and Destructive Testing (DT) techniques (tensile, impact, hardness).
  • Certified NDT Level 2 (e.g., ASNT, PCN, CSWIP).
