Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Publishing Director to lead our global coverage team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing editorial teams, working in fast-paced environments, and collaborating with multiple teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the editorial strategy for Yahoo News & Finance, overseeing production and programming, and managing a small editorial team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the editorial vision and strategy for Yahoo News & Finance.
  • Oversee the production and programming of news and finance content.
  • Manage a small editorial team and work closely with media teams worldwide.
  • Participate in key product discussions and contribute to special partnerships.
  • Evaluate partners and partner content, and manage events diary.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent news judgment, impeccable communication skills, and the ability to make high-stakes decisions quickly and clearly. A B.A. degree in journalism or media is required, and fluent English is essential.
