Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to lead our team of engineers and designers in the Oil and Gas sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in project scheduling and review activities, providing engineering input during design phases, and ensuring design packages meet relevant safety, environmental, and ergonomic standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Scheduling and Review: Participate in project scheduling and review activities to ensure timely and quality delivery of electrical equipment specifications.
  2. Engineering Input: Provide engineering input during all design phases, including interpretation and challenge of standards, to ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  3. Design Package Development: Prepare design documents, including SLDs, Protection & Control schematics, and layout drawings, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  4. Vendor Management: Review vendor documents to ensure timely and quality input into design packages.
  5. Design Review: Participate in and sometimes lead, discipline design reviews to ensure design packages meet relevant safety, environmental, and ergonomic standards.
  6. Team Leadership: Lead a team of engineers and designers to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  7. Quality Management: Understand and ensure compliance with contract quality management systems.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Engineering Degree in a relevant discipline.
  2. Experience: Overall 15+ years of experience, out of which 5-8 years must be in the Oil and Gas sector.
  3. Skills: Fully coherent in all international codes and standards, excellent command of both spoken and written English, enthusiastic, conscientious, and keen to learn.
  4. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working on Saudi Aramco projects, flexible with a can-do attitude.
