About the Role:

The Culinary Service Lead will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and operational efficiency within our culinary and dining areas.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Chief Steward in developing training plans and implementing training material in accordance with IHG guidelines
  2. Maintain impeccable personal grooming standards and supervise the stewarding team
  3. Oversee kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and efficient dishwashing processes
  4. Manage proper waste handling and recycling
  5. Keep precise records of kitchen supplies and equipment
  6. Coordinate with procurement for essential items and implement cost-saving measures
  7. Enforce hygiene and safety standards per local health regulations
  8. Facilitate communication between kitchen staff and other departments
  9. Train stewarding colleagues in cleaning, safety, and equipment use

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
  • Proven experience in a similar supervisory role
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, hygiene standards, and safety regulations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of inventory management and ordering processes
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service
  • Willingness to assist in other areas when necessary and reasonably requested
  • Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
