The Claims Manager will play a pivotal role in our organization by providing expert guidance and claims advocacy services to clients. This position requires a deep understanding of the claims process, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex claims effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight and management of the entire claims lifecycle, from initial report to final resolution.
  • Leadership and management of a team of four claims professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Provision of expert guidance and support to clients, answering questions, addressing concerns, and providing regular updates on claim status.
  • Maintenance of strong relationships with clients, insurance companies, loss adjusters, lawyers, experts, and other stakeholders, fostering trust and collaboration.
Essential Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in insurance, business administration, law, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of seven to ten years' experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on claims management and advocacy services.
  • Certifications: Professional qualifications (e.g., Dip CII, ACII, FCII, CPCU, AIC) and/or evidence of significant continuing professional development throughout career.
  • Strong understanding of insurance policies, coverage, and the claims process.
  • Claims handling and negotiation skills.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision within assigned authority.
  • Analytical, organized, and with a strong attention to detail.
