Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Engineer to join our team at Juma Al Majid Holding Group L.L.C. as a Project Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing project schedules, ensuring timely completion of projects, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in P6, ensuring alignment with client and main contractor requirements.
  2. Progress Monitoring: Regularly review project progress, identify and address any deviations, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  3. Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with clients, main contractors, and project teams to ensure seamless communication and updates on project schedules.
  4. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports, including weekly and monthly updates, bar charts, and KPIs, to project managers and stakeholders.
  5. Cost Control: Assist project managers in controlling project costs, including preparing cash flow projections and EOT claims.
  6. Work Breakdown Structure: Develop and maintain work breakdown structures for project baseline programs.
  7. Delay Management: Identify and manage delays, issuing delay notices to concerned parties as necessary.
  8. Schedule Development: Prepare preliminary tender programs in P6 during the tender stage of projects.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in civil, industrial engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
  2. Experience: Minimum 5 years of extensive experience in planning and scheduling of interior fit-out, joinery, and construction activities.
  3. Skills: Proficiency in P6 and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, as well as knowledge of joinery and fit-out materials.
  4. Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
