Torchinsky is seeking a highly skilled Senior Golang Software Engineer to lead the development of our cutting-edge drone-in-a-box solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing server-side software that orchestrates an entire ecosystem of drones and related technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Architecture and Optimization: Develop and optimize the backend and whole system architecture for better scalability and reliability.
  • Protocol Development: Develop the protocols between all components of the system, working together with frontend and embedded developers to optimize end-to-end performance.
  • Backend Server Software Development: Develop backend server software using Golang.
  • Video Streaming Subsystem Development: Work on the video streaming subsystem to improve scalability and performance using Golang and C.
  • System Quality and Stability: Ensure quality and stable operation of the system.
  • CI/CD and Development Environment Support: Provide support for CI/CD systems and development environments.
  • Customer Interaction: Interact with customers to better understand their use cases and find better solutions.

Requirements
  • Commercial Development Experience: At least 5 years of commercial development experience.
  • Golang Experience: At least 3 years of commercial development experience in Golang.
  • Multithreaded Applications: Experience in developing multithreaded applications.
  • Relational Databases: Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL).
  • Operating Systems: Experience with operating systems in the *nix family.
  • Version Control System: Experience with Git version control system.
  • CI/CD Systems: Experience with CI/CD systems (Gitlab CI).
  • Containerization Systems: Experience with containerization systems (Docker).
  • Real-Time High Load Network Applications: Experience with real-time high load network applications development (using TCP, UDP, Websocket).
  • Go Application Profiling and Debugging: Ability to profile and debug Go applications.
Nice to Have
  • C++ and Python Knowledge: Basic knowledge of C++ and Python.
  • Binary Protocols: Experience with binary protocols.
  • ACL Design and Implementation: Experience in ACL (access control systems) design and implementation.
